Section 301 Duties on Chinese-Origin Goods Enacted in 2018

25% on most items 7.5% on some

Section 301 duties are additional tariffs on certain Chinese-origin goods, with some products eligible for temporary exclusions. These exclusions are periodically reviewed and renewed or allowed to expire by the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR).

Section 232 Duties on Steel and Aluminum Goods Enacted in 2018 and expand

Section 232 tariffs are U.S. import duties on certain steel and aluminum products, imposed for national security reasons.
